Lucia and Francesco said “I do” (in Italian of course) in the beautiful hillside village of Fossombrone, Italy. This Italian wedding in the Marche region was everything that I would have thought an Italian wedding to be. Their ceremony was in the grandiose Fossombrone duomo (Santi Aldebrando e Agostino in Cattedrale) and reception was held a short drive through the picturesque Italian countryside to La Cerbara. Che bella!
Lucia and Francesco hired the cutest vintage Volkswagen Beetle to cruise around in for the day. I am totally in love with the Italian wedding tradition of making a huge scene when driving from A to B. They honk their horns, yell and draw attention to the bride and groom anyway they can. Such a fun and joyous way to celebrate a day full of amore and happiness!
